Geese and Gears

Nina took us to the Baltimore Zoo today where she introduced Earl & me to her co-workers. Had a nice deli picnic lunch surrounded by geese and goslings and beautiful spring weather.

The donkeys gave Earl a licking (click on picture for video)

Wandered around the zoo until 3:30 pm and then headed towards the airport as Earl had a 6:35 pm flight. About 2 miles from Nina’s home, we smelled something burning. Nina’s car’s clutch gave out. Happily, Adam (her son) was home so he came and rescued Earl. Earl made it to the airport by 5 pm. I stayed with Nina and AAA’s tow truck finally came at 6:30 pm.

All in all we were lucky. Nina took Adam and me out for dinner afterwards. We had spiced boiled shrimp.
